All PDF merging, compression, watermarking, and file management happens locally on your device. Your files are never uploaded to any server. The app reads PDF files you select and writes the merged output back to your device storage — nothing leaves your phone.
3. Storage Access
The app requests access to your device storage solely to:
- Read the PDF files you choose to merge
- Save the merged PDF output to your device
We do not access any other files on your device beyond those you explicitly select.
4. Internet Access
The app requests internet permission to support the following features:
- Opening your browser to the Play Store for rating or sharing the app
- Sending feedback you write (if you choose to submit it)
No PDF content or personal data is ever sent over the internet.
5. Third-Party Services
The current version of Merge PDF does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Future updates may add services such as Google AdMob (advertising) and RevenueCat (in-app purchases). This policy will be updated before any such integration is released.
6. Children's Privacy
Merge PDF is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
7. Data Retention
Since we do not collect any data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. App preferences (such as your sort order or favourites list) are stored locally on your device using Android's standard storage APIs and can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the app.
